Grenade Launcher

The CZ 805 G1 is a versatile 40x46 caliber grenade launcher, developed as part of the next generation of service weapons by Česká zbrojovka a.s., Uherský Brod. Designed for lightweight operation, it is ideal for neutralizing armored targets, personnel, and equipment situated in open terrain or field shelters. The CZ 805 G1 is capable of firing a wide range of modern standard grenades in 40x46 caliber, including cumulative, armor-piercing, fragmentation, and specialized types such as thermobaric, smoke, illuminating, incendiary, and chemical grenades. It also supports non-lethal ammunition for added versatility.

The weapon’s construction emphasizes simplicity and reliability. Loading and spent cartridge extraction are performed at the rear through a side-tilting barrel. This design accommodates grenades of varying lengths without limitation. The direction of barrel tilt can be adjusted for right-handed or left-handed users, ensuring ergonomic adaptability. Additionally, the trigger guard can rotate 90° to either side, facilitating use while wearing gloves.

The CZ 805 G1 features robust safety mechanisms, including a transverse manual safety for the trigger and an automatic firing pin block. It can be operated as a standalone weapon or attached as an underslung accessory to an assault rifle. When used independently, the grenade launcher mounts to a bottom MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for secure integration.
